Vote 2012
The right to vote is not only a right but it’s an obligation. Certain political forces are working very hard nation wide to keep American citizens from exercising their right to vote. A concerted effort to restrict and inhibit the rights of both young and old, black, white and Latino voters is trying to strip away their voting power in order to promote the interests of the 1 % .
That’s where you come in. You don’t have to support or agree with the Occupy Wall Street Movement to realize that you are likely one of the 99% of us that are frustrated and angered by all that has been going on. Paid off politicians are giving away our public money to wealthy private interests including the big oil companies, the war machine contractors (58 cents of each tax dollar) like G.E., General Dynamics, Blackwater, Haliburton and many more, as well as the big banks and Wall Street fraudsters. They tell us we have to give up our earned Social Security benefits and earned Medicare benefits so that more money can be poured into the pockets of the wealthy. We’re told we can’t afford to take care of the health of our citizens with our own tax money. Instead, we should “donate” those funds to the wealthiest 1% including the international corporations who don’t pay their fair share of those taxes if any at all.
It is really, the international corporations vs. the American people.
The good news is this: Corporations can’t vote. Only American citizens can.
They may have almost all of the money, and all of the influence and power, but they just can’t vote.
We can win our country back one vote at a time.
You can double your voting power by helping one single person register to vote and vote for our common 99% interests. Ask them to support their family, their neighbors, their community and their country and oppose the sale of our government to the highest bidder and the international corporations.
